Mabala grew up in town and worked in town for many years so he thinks the life of farming is easier than the life in town. “You dig, you plant, you weed, you harvest, you eat, no problem,” he says. He also thinks that because he is educated, he knows better than the farmers who have been farming all their lives. As a result, he makes mistake after mistake until the villagers laugh at him and his wife threatens to leave him. Will he realise his mistakes? Can he learn?
