Teen Doreen Ngemera was born and raised in the busy City of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania by her pharmacist dad and medical doctor mum alongside her two siblings. She spent her childhood reading and reviewing all sorts of diaries and novels. By the age of 10 she had already read more than 500 fiction and non-fiction books. .
